photographs you are showing me?
- Who will be
photographing my wedding if we hire your studio?
- We want to MEET
this photographer BEFORE we hire your studio.

- How will you
dress at my wedding?
- Did you do all
the samples of wedding photography we saw on your website,
and in the shows and albums? If not, show us your work,
please.
- How long will
you be at my wedding?

from a checklist of photos?
By
the way, just so you know, here are my answers to those questions
I
am the only photographer at my studio. I will be photographing
your wedding personally. I will dress appropriately for YOUR
wedding. If you prefer I wear a tie and suit jacket, I will.
If you would be more comfortable with me being in "business
casual" attire, that is what I will wear. I never wear
jeans, t-shirts, tennis shoes, or other "street"
clothes. I want to represent you professionally.
I
am typically at your wedding until a pre-specified final event
at your reception. This is decided upon by all of us at your
final consultation, however, I will be at your wedding until
you, your husband, your parents, and your husband's parents
all say they have nothing else for me to do. I NEVER will
leave your wedding without checking with all of these people.
I
use no checklist. Instead, I prefer to develop a relationship
with my couples and their families ahead of time so I can
concentrate on capturing those special relationships and moments.
Weddings are fast-moving and the day goes by in a blur. A
photographer should not waste time looking at his checklist
to get a "canned" pose. I watch for the special,
magical, and spontaneous moments that will be so meaningful
to you to have photographs of. |
