We
don't like to entertain or amuse our children by planting
them in front of a video screen to watch a movie, but
we're always on the lookout for books or videos that
will set godly role models before our us. We recently
purchased this video after hearing about it from one
of our Wild Edible Plant Field Trip customers.
This
documentary chronicles the life of the Waller family
from the days when Tommy Waller was a high-ranking executive
with FedEx, but working 80 hours a week. He realized
that he was missing the lives of his children, so he
quit his job, purchased a small farm 2 hours outside
of Nashville, and came home to raise his children (which
number 11 now!). This work prepared the Waller family
for the next step that God has led them to, but I won't
reveal that. You'll have to get the video.

of the common man, yet, the richness and breadth
of his grasp of the English language! What a testament
against the downgrade in 20th and 21st century

offers excerpts from Muller's diary which allows
us to explore his journey from sinner to believer.
Muller's abiding faith in the Lord allowed him
to establish orphan homes for scores of English
children. Muller's commitment can show others
how to pray in faith, seek God and ascertain His
plan for each life. Muller's greatest hope was
that his record of God's faithfulness to him would
encourage believers to develop faith like his
own.
I
can think of few Christians who exemplify the
faith described in the Bible like George Muller.
On faith alone, he cared for thousands of England's
orphans.
